P2 in 2L Cup and CER quali sessions at Dijon

EB Motorsport Porsche 911s delivered strong performances in qualifying sessions for the 2.0L Cup and Classic Endurance Racing series at Dijon Grand Prix.

In a field of 36 cars, the 1974 911 RSR repeated its excellent practice performance and set the second quickest qualifying time for a 911 in Peter Auto’s CER 1. A best lap of 1:31.118 compares favourably to the quickest RSR time of 1:30.683, set by regular Le Mans 24 Hour driver, Raymond Narac.

In the 2.0L Cup, our 1965 911 set a time of 1:42.4 and will also start second on the grid. The fastest 2-litre of Historika’s Andrew Smith and Olly Bryant was 1.1 seconds ahead of the rest of the field, with second to sixth positions split by the same 1.1 seconds. Twenty-six cars have entered the race and it should be an exciting battle.
