EB Motorsport High Butterfly Throttles for Porsche

Champion Porsche racers and lightweight classic body panel specialist, EB Motorsport, announces all-new high-butterfly throttle bodies for vintage Porsche engines.

Built in castings faithfully modelled on original parts, the EB High Butterfly Intake System retains many innovations that are normally deleted by other reproductions. EB Motorsport high butterfly throttles include adjustable throttle shaft couplers, brass linkage shift bushes with grease nipples and correct countersunk screw details on the throttle plates.

Initially available with 43mm Intake Ports and 50mm butterflies to suit Porsche 911 3.0 RS and RSR engines, EB high butterflies come with all the linkage parts required for installation on a MFI Porsche 911 engine. EB’s dyno-developed high flow air filter system is currently being optimised for the high butterfly throttle system.

Price for EB Motorsport high butterfly throttles is set at £5,080. The new product sits alongside the firm’s current range of MFI slide throttles, which retail at £5,870.

A Tuthill Porsche 911 running EB’s slide throttles won the 2012 Belgian Historic Rally Championship. EB Motorsport has won the FIA-accredited World Sportscar Masters series for the last two years with its 911 3.0 RSR, and for 2013 will also race a 3.0 RS replica, built to FIA standards.
