EB Porsche 911R Doors Now On Sale

Hot on the heels of its lightweight 911R front wings, EB Motorsport unveils superbly crafted lightweight Porsche 911R doors for classic 911s, and all-new aluminium door hinges for the lightest 911s.

Manufactured to EB Motorsport’s premium standards, the 911R doors are priced identically to the firm’s existing lightweight doors for 911, which take full window regulators and internals. The 911R doors also accept factory window frames, allowing drivers to later fit lightweight glazing of choice.

“The nature of prototype racers means there is no one solution to replica parts,” says EB MD, Mark Bates. “We’ve delved into our Porsche racing archive to develop the most authentic doors available. They include a panel for internal toggle openers, a wide roll top for buckle-style window sliders and of course the mounting points for our all-new aluminium hinges (available separately), which solve the huge problem of how to mount doors, when the factory hinges are not removable.”

EB’s 911R doors are priced at £1100 per pair, plus VAT and carriage. They are finished in a glistening white gelcoat, with the option to mould the internal panel in black, to offer an unworn finish for years.

See the lightweight 911R doors in the EB Motorsport Porsche racing parts shop. European customers can order direct from EB’s European distributors, Twinspark Racing: www.twinsparkracing.com/shop.
